Case Study
$6B+ in orders. One platform. Six years of trust.
Elevate Partners needed to design a system from the ground up. They didn't know how to communicate what they needed. I didn't know their business. Together, we learned—and built something better than anything else on the market.
Before
Spreadsheets, emails, and institutional knowledge running a national sales operation
After
$6B+ in orders processed through a custom platform built for how they actually work
How
6+ years of partnership, learning the business deeply, and building iteratively
The problem they came with
Elevate Partners is a national sales organization with complex operations: territory management, lead distribution, performance tracking, commission calculations, client onboarding. When we started working together, they were running all of this on spreadsheets, emails, and institutional knowledge.
No single source of truth for sales data
Manual processes for everything from lead routing to commission calculation
Reporting required 'spreadsheet archaeology'—digging through multiple files to assemble the truth
Scaling was limited by how much manual work the team could handle
No visibility into pipeline or performance without asking someone to pull numbers
They were growing fast. The manual systems that got them started were becoming the bottleneck that would cap their growth.
The work we did together
Learning each other's language
The first months were about understanding. I didn't know sales operations. They didn't know how to communicate technical requirements. We spent time in conversations, not code. I asked questions until I understood their business well enough to propose solutions.
"When we began working together, he knew nothing about our business and we knew nothing about how to communicate what we needed to design a system from the ground up."
Building the foundation
We started with the core: a data model that accurately represented their business. Leads, territories, accounts, reps, commissions. Getting this right was everything. We designed it together, iterating until it matched how their business actually worked.
Automating the manual work
Once the foundation was solid, we started replacing manual processes. Lead routing based on territory rules. Automated reporting. Commission calculations that didn't require a spreadsheet wizard. Each automation freed up time and reduced errors.
Continuous evolution
The platform didn't stop at launch. Over six years, we've iterated, expanded, and refined. New features as the business grew. Integrations with other tools. Performance improvements as volume increased. The platform grew with them.
What they ended up with
In orders processed through the platform
High-volume transaction data with full audit trails and reporting
Of continuous partnership
Not a one-time project—an ongoing relationship that grows with the business
Than any other sales management tool they've seen
Built specifically for how they work, not how generic software thinks they should
"Aaron listened patiently and over time we learned the language of one another's industry, though I must admit he became far more fluent in mine than I in his. Aaron has been the cornerstone of our ongoing platform development which is superior in functionality and more intuitive than any other sales management tool I have seen."

"He took the time to really learn our business, which meant the solutions he delivered weren't just technically solid—they actually solved real problems for us. He has a sharp mind, asks the right questions, and brings a great sense of humor to the table."

What made this work
Starting with understanding, not building
We spent real time learning each other's domains before writing code. That investment paid off in a system that actually fit their business.
Long-term relationship over project-based thinking
This wasn't 'build and hand off.' It's an ongoing partnership where the system evolves as the business does.
Building for real-world complexity
Off-the-shelf tools didn't work because their business has legitimate complexity. Custom doesn't mean complicated—it means precisely fitted.
Trust built through delivery
Six years of showing up, solving problems, and communicating clearly. Trust isn't claimed—it's earned.
Is your situation similar?
You're running critical operations on spreadsheets and manual processes
Off-the-shelf tools don't fit how your business actually works
You need a partner who will learn your domain, not just build what you ask for
You're thinking long-term, not just about the next project
